Job Description:
We are seeking a Video Teleconferencing (VTC)/Audio Visual Engineer to join our growing team for an upcoming IT/Cyber Security contract based out of Bahrain. The position is contingent upon contract award.

As the VTC/Audio Visual Engineer, you will provide Video Teleconferencing (VTC) subject matter expertise support to NAVCENT in support of the Maritime Mission, support and coordinate the scheduling, programming, Operations & Maintenance (O&M), testing, upgrading, troubleshooting, and integration of new VTC systems and underlying video transport infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for operating, troubleshooting, maintaining and upgrading all Video Distribution System (VDS) equipment

Possess working knowledge of Crestron, Cisco CODECs, AMX, Planar, Clear One and Audio-Visual System design

Responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining and upgrading Cisco Meeting Server and Codian bridges
-
Provide onsite support during all scheduled VTCs for approximately (20) conference room VTC suites and (50) desktop VTC devices ranging from COMMERCIAL, UNCLASSIFIED, SECRET, COALITION (CENTRIXS and BICES), and JWICS TS/SCI. Work outside of normal working hours may be required
Material & Equipment Directly Used:

Navy classified and unclassified C4ISR computer systems and ONE-NET
Working Environment:
-
Candidate will work primarily in computer facilities at Naval commands in an office or computer equipment room environment

Work outside of normal work week hours will be required to participate in meetings, troubleshooting efforts, and installations or upgrades
Physical Activities:
-
Personnel may be required to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time

Individual must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. unassisted

The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection of installed computer and network equipment
Job Requirements:

Must be a U.S. Citizen

Pre-employment drug screening

Active DoD TS/SCI Security Clearance
-
IAT Level II Certification (per DoD Inst 8750.1 and Navy guidance) required. CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND or SSCP with IA and CE required

5+ years’ experience with Navy or DoD Networks (SIPRNET, NIPRNET)
-
5+ years’ experience with video teleconferencing systems and associated equipment ,smart phones, iridium satellite phones and secure sleeves, tablets, and associated equipment that supports, satellite, GSM and CDMA technologies
-
Provide technical support for all command smart phones, iridium satellite phones, secure sleeves, tablets, video teleconferencing systems and associated equipment
-
Knowledge of military C2 architectures required

Must be able to communicate clearly both orally and in writing
-
Must be able to communicate clearly with senior Navy / DoD officials and technical personnel
-
Candidate must be able to provide training as needed
