Job Description:

We are seeking a Test Engineer to join our growing team for an Engineering contract based out of Sterling, Virginia. The position is contingent upon contract award.

As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the tests required for ensuring high quality and functionality product standards.

The Test Engineer will follow the System Engineer Technical Review (SETR) Process to provide a rigorous and structured means of evaluating the progress of the technical development portion of system acquisition. SETR reviews enable independent assessments throughout the program’s life cycle of engineering technical review categories such as:

  • System Requirements, Traceability and Design

  • Test, Evaluation, and Certification of Product

  • Project Management and Execution (Planning, Assessment and Control, including Logistics, Training and Sustainment)

We are looking to fill multiple positions at the Junior, Mid, Senior, and Subject Matter Expert level.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Determine the optimal approach for testing complex products or solutions in order to assure compliance with applicable specifications.

  • Identify and recommend product or solution characteristics that optimize their ability to be tested or to provide test data for diagnostic purposes.

  • Combine customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

  • Develop and direct preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for completing systems.

  • Coordinate integrated testing activities.

  • Review and evaluate test requirements to ensure the completeness of test programs.

  • Perform technical analysis of complete systems and prepare comprehensive system-level evaluations.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

  • Pre-employment drug screening

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance

  • Minimum Experience:

    • Junior – None

    • Mid – 3 years

    • Senior – 7 years

    • SME – 12 years

Required Education:

  • BA/BS in a related field
