Job Description:
We are seeking a Systems Engineer to join our growing team for an Engineering contract based out of Sterling, Virginia.
​
As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for applying interdisciplinary engineering skills in the technical planning, systems integration, verification and validation, cost and risk and supportability and effectiveness analyses for complex solutions or products.
​
The Systems Engineer will follow the System Engineer Technical Review (SETR) Process to provide a rigorous and structured means of evaluating the progress of the technical development portion of system acquisition. SETR reviews enable independent assessments throughout the program’s life cycle of engineering technical review categories such as:

System Requirements, Traceability and Design

Test, Evaluation, and Certification of Product
-
Project Management and Execution (Planning, Assessment and Control, including Logistics, Training and Sustainment)
We are looking to fill multiple positions at the Mid-level.
Job Responsibilities:

Apply interdisciplinary engineering skills in the technical planning, systems integration, verification and validation, cost and risk and supportability and effectiveness analyses

Perform analysis at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal

Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints
-
Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, and detailed trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into technical solutions and continuously validate those solutions through delivery

Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance

Minimum Experience:

Mid – 3 years

BA/BS in a related field
