Job Description:

We are seeking a Maintenance Manager to join our growing team for an upcoming management, operation and maintenance contract based out of Wahiawa, Hawaii. 

​

As the On-Site Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for the management of a team of maintenance personnel in multiple Telecommunication Facility locations in Oahu.

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for an Integrated Maintenance Program (IMP), establishing a preventive maintenance (PM) program for all the Site’s systems and equipment utilizing the current NAVSEAINST 4790 series Maintenance and Materiel Management (3M) program and local command instructions to maximize useful life of all sustained systems under contract

• Manage a team of maintenance personnel in multiple Telecommunication facility locations

• Synchronize work schedules and resource conflicts to minimize service interruptions for both preventive and corrective maintenance activities

• Balance of workload to teams of maintenance personnel in multiple locations

• Manage the daily (24 hours a day, 7 days a week) care of equipment located in multiple geographically separated locations

• Provide assistance to Operations & Maintenance personnel as required

• Flexible 8 x 5 (Monday-Friday) (24x7 on-call) work schedule, 24-hour X 7 support

• This position reports to the Program Manager

 

Job Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen

• Pre-employment drug screening

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance

• CSWF Code 45 Position (reference Attachment “Cyber Security Work Force Requirements” and DoD Directive 8140.01 Cyberspace Workforce Management, DoD Directive 8570.01-M Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program and SECNAV M-5239.2 Cyberspace Information Technology and Cybersecurity Workforce Management and Qualification Manual)

• Possess relevant experience in managing a team of maintenance personnel in multiple Telecommunication facility locations

• Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs a distance of 50 feet horizontally and 35 lbs vertically a distance of 50 feet without resting
   

Required Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field
