Job Description:

We are seeking a Combined Maritime Force (CMF) Technical Advisor to join our growing team for an upcoming IT/Cyber Security contract based out of Bahrain. The position is contingent upon contract award.

As the CMF Technical Advisor, you will provide planning, engineering, and integration oversight to assist the COMUSNAVCENT/5FLT N6, CMF Chief of Staff (COS), and Coalition Officer(s) in the effective planning and management of Combined Enterprise Regional Information Exchange System (CENTRIXS), Battle Information Collection and Exploitation System (BICES), Coalition Partner Network (CPN-X), and other systems as deemed applicable by the COR in accordance with N6 requirements.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as technical liaison between the COMUSNAVCENT N6, Central Command (CENTCOM) J6 staff, Foreign Disclosure Officer (FDO), and the Navy International Program Office (IPO)

  • Support CMF assigned Task Forces and CMF personnel in various working groups, information meetings, exercises, and conferences as required by the N6 and approved by the Contracting Officer (KO)

  • Attend daily recurring meetings to ensure technical situational awareness and provide SME-level oversight feedback as necessary

  • Respond to emergent tasking and outages as instructed by the Contracting Officer (KO)

  • Provide support on-site during core hours and, as needed, additional hours to accommodate meetings, troubleshooting efforts, and exercises

 

Material & Equipment Directly Used:

  • Navy classified and unclassified C4ISR computer systems and ONE-NET

 

Working Environment:

  • Candidate will work primarily in computer facilities at Naval commands in an office or computer equipment room environment

  • Work outside of normal work week hours will be required to participate in meetings, troubleshooting efforts, and installations or upgrades

 

Physical Activities:

  • Personnel may be required to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time

  • Individual must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. unassisted

  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection of installed computer and network equipment

 

Job Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

  • Pre-employment drug screening

  • Active DoD TS/SCI Security Clearance

  • IAT Level III Certification (CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate) GCED or GCIH) with CE required

  • 5+ years’ experience with Navy or DoD Networks (SIPRNET, NIPRNET, SCI)

  • 5+ years’ experience C4I Systems experience: BICES, GCCS-J/M, FMV, Coalition Partner Network (CPN-X), CENTRIXS/other C2 Systems Administration

  • Planning, engineering, and integration oversight to the COMUSNAVCENT/5FLT N6, CMF Chief of Staff (COS), and Coalition Officer(s) in the effective planning and management of Combined Enterprise Regional Information Exchange System (CENTRIXS), Battle Information Collection and Exploitation System (BICES), Coalition Partner Network (CPN-X)

  • Detailed knowledge of MOC C2 systems to include knowledge of fleet communications and architectures

  • Must be able to communicate well both orally and in writing

  • Must be able to communicate well with senior Navy / DoD officials and technical personnel

  • Candidate must be able to provide training remotely and in person

Required Education:

  • BS in Information Technology (or equivalent technical degree) and 5+ years technical experience in related discipline required
